Life Unusual : 30 Mar 2020
The past few months have been most challenging for nations, communities, and individuals. On all levels, life has been difficult and stressful. We are faced with our mortality and our livelihoods for the first time in years and for some, in their lifetime. COVID-19 has changed life as we know it, both now and for the future.
In many ways, I think a lot of us look to being "rescued" from the present threat. Even as we look to help from so many angles such as, from the experts/scientists/doctors/researchers, from human experience, from "above", from the "external", from each other... I am also reminded of a quote:
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
